Simax’s Parts Store on eBay opened last week, offering customers around the world easy online access to replacement parts for their lithography systems. Simax joins a growing number of established semiconductor equipment companies that have begun selling on the site over the last few years.

The Simax store will initially offer a selection of often used parts for ASML Steppers and Scanners. In the coming months, Simax will expand the store by adding more parts from ASML, Nikon, and other lithography equipment manufacturers.

Tracy Robinson, Parts Manager of Simax said: “There are customers who wish to buy parts directly and quickly online, and our eBay Store is a good solution for them. Through eBay, we believe we can engage with and satisfy a number of additional customers through what is a new retail channel for Simax.”

All items sold through Simax’s eBay store are offered from stock with an expedited shipping option, free packaging and handling, and are covered by the Simax parts return policy. Simax Lithography in Mesa, AZ will handle the shop front and order processing.

semi europaSemicon Europa 2011 was held on Oct 11 – 13 with the support of the city of Dresden and the state of Saxony, as well as with the support of other European associations, including Silicon Saxony. It is the place to see the leading companies, technologies, and people driving the future of micro- and nanoelectronics design and manufacturing.

Monday Oct 10, 2011 – one day before Semicon Europa, Simax has used the opportunity to give product and company training to new agent Teltec. Brian Renner, Simax Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Erik Corduwener, Simax VP Business Development gave the training to a group of about 15 sales and service people from Italy, France and Germany. The Training contained an extensive Simax company profile, the basics of Lithography, steppers, scanners and their applications. Together with Simax, Core Systems, Simax Partner delivered a presentation about the Implanter disk refurbishment business and technology.

In Semicon Europa this year, Simax attended in great events, meetings such as Lively SEA section, Fab Managers Forum which is always a good event to catch up on the latest ideas and vision from the leading European wafer fabs, etc. Furthermore, the company had very good opportunities to meet with customers, business partners, friends in the industry. This also showed the successful launch of cooperation between Simax and Teltec, a good company with excellent connections in the industry and well position to represent Simax. TelTec will promote sales both for Simax and Core in Europe and Israel.

The 35th Semicon Europa concluded with the successfully integrated Plastic Electronics 2011, impressive start of the FutureLOUNGE, more than 4,300 attendees, over 350 exhibitors, and 41 conferences and events.

Simax and NetMecury have entered into a Commercial Distribution Agreement

Simax Services and NetMercury ink Commercial Distribution Agreement

San Jose, Calif. – Simax Services, a worldwide leader in services for established wafer fabs, today announced it has signed an exclusive representative agreement with NetMercury Inc., a top-tier representative for semiconductor equipment firms in North America, to distribute Simax’s Lithography Products and Core Systems family of ion implant products.

In an effort to increase customer satisfaction, expand market share, and improve operating efficiency, Simax is transitioning from a pure direct sales and service model to one which includes exclusive representatives in select US markets. NetMercury will immediately undertake sales efforts for Simax’s products in Texas and the south-western states. NetMercury will provide account management support to Simax’s customers in those markets. Simax will continue to serve customers located in other US territories with no change to the existing model.

Simax Vietnam receives the Investment Certificate

Simax Vietnam receives Investment Certificate
at Saigon Hi-Tech Park, Ho Chi Minh City

Hochiminh City, Vietnam – June 06, 2011 – Simax Vietnam Co. Ltd. (or Simax Vietnam) officially received the Investment Certificate at Saigon Hi-Tech Park. This certificate is issued by Saigon Hi-Tech Park Board of Management and allows operation in the semiconductor service business from the date of issuance.

Simax is a young and fast growing company in the semiconductor industry, which focuses on continued service and support for lithography equipment and processes. The company provides professional engineering services and support for semiconductor manufacturers that will continue to use 200mm technology to develop and manufacture “More than Moore” applications.
