Simax was founded in 2009, with the objective to bring a full portfolio of engineering services supporting 200mm lithography equipment and processes to IDM's and other customers. IDM’s typically continue to use the equipment in their fabs for many years. Other customers like startups and R&D centers typically use 200mm or older technology for new device development, often in the "More than Moore" area.
